From hosting workshops during College Application Week to guiding students through financial aid resources and campus tours. Our team is committed to helping every student take confident steps toward higher education.
College App Week
During College Application Week at Sallisaw High School, VISTA members supported students with applications, answered questions, and encouraged them as they prepared for their college journey.
CareerU Expo
Vista Members had a wonderful time attending the Career U Expo at Muldrow High School. With over 25 different career paths set up throughout the classrooms, students were able to explore a wide variety of future possibilities.
ICAP at Central Sallisaw
ICAP members worked with Central Sallisaw High School students to explore careers, college, and other opportunities as they plan for life after graduation.
Mock Interviews
VISTA members conducted mock interviews with 129 students from Indian Capital Technology Center-Sallisaw. Students worked with ICTC Job Placement Specialists to create cover letters and applications, which was submitted to an interview committee comprised of VISTA members. They provided interview coaching and gave helpful feedback.
