VISTA members have been hard at work supporting local students as they explore their future college options. From assisting at workshops during College Application Week to guiding students through financial aid resources and campus tours. Our team is committed to helping every student take confident steps toward higher education.
ICTC Technical Honor Society Induction
VISTA members Nan Stites, Debbie Phillips, and Debbie Bartel were proud to assist staff with the ceremony and celebrate students they've had the privilege fo working with throughout the school year.
Mock Interviews at Pocola
VISTA members Carla, Clifta, Janelle, and Lynn along with Lane Thomas, U.S. Army Recruiter assisted Pocola High School with mock interviews on March 11, 2026.
20 interview stations allowed students to present their resumes, practice interview skills, and receive helpful feedback as they prepare for life after graduation.
Pre-Enrollment at Muldrow
VISTA members, Clifta, Janelle, and Lynn supported Muldrow High School at their 8th grade pre-enrollment. They were happy to help assist and guide families throughout the evening.
71 students turned in enrollments sheets for next year. A great start for future freshman!
Intro to Health Careers
VISTA member Debbie Bartel helped coordinate a presentation and assist the Introduction to Health Careers class at Sallisaw High School. The presentation gave insight on rad tech careers and related certifications.
